Save the date Barbers & Stylist July 7th 2024 The Battle Of The Boroughs will take place in The Sunset Park Rooftop 14B 53rd Street Brooklyn N.Y 11232. Hosting this event will be Danny Amorim @Successaddict alongside Argelis Holguin @3men2barbershow our mission to bring the barbering & stylist community together through these cultural events loaded with live entertainment, art, music, food, drinks, vendors, networking opportunities, & of course a shot at bringing home the title from THE MECCA of it all NEW YORK CITY!

Student Battle (45 mins) ($80 Entry)- Students show up! Take advantage of an opportunity to make your mark!. This is a 21 and over event.
- Anything goes! Best haircut wins.
- Designs, color, & enhancements are allowed!
- Haircuts are judged by cleanliness, fade quality, line sharpness & even symmetry.
Fastest Fade (15 mins)($100 entry)($500 1st place) - Who has the fastest hands? Sign up & show the city!. This is a 21 and over event.
- Best quality fade wins within 15mins
- It doesn’t matter who finishes first it’s who can do nicest fade in 15mins.
- #3 clip & up for hair on top of scalp.
- We are looking for a clean skin fade without blemishes & even-line shape up!
Freestyle (45 mins)($100 entry)($500 1st place) - Bring your “A” Game! Anything goes within this battle!. This is a 21 and over event.
- Do whatever it takes for the best cut! Enhancements, color pencils, & dye can be used.
- Best freestyle design wins! Be as creative as your imagination permits!
- Total look matching outfits to design are always a plus!
- Haircuts are judged by cleanliness, creativity & theme!
Fade & Beard (45 mins)($100 entry)($500 1st place) - Our rendition of Traditional & Old-School that covers all textures of hair & all styles from the past!. This is a 21 and over event.
- Models must have a beard & all fades are allowed!(No tapers permitted)
- Longer top hair & longer beards are preferred!
- We accept combovers pompadours afros & high tops!
- Completed haircuts are judged by cleanliness, fade quality & beard work!
Fade & Braid (1hr 30 mins)($150 entry)($1000 1st place) - The best tag team battle you can think of! A barber plus a stylist completing two services in one competition!. This is a 21 and over event.
- Man bun style long hair accepted only!
- High & tight, mid, & low fades are acceptable!(no tapers)
- Completed cuts are judged by fade quality & braid creativity!
NYC Marathon (60 mins)($150 entry)(15 slots)($1000 1st place) NYC marathon - The 1st of its kind! This challenge brings the pressure like no other. The NYC marathon consists of how many skin fade haircuts one can do within the time limit of the challenge! You have 1 hour to show us what you got!.This is a 21 and over event.
- All fully completed haircuts will be judged at the end of the 60 minute competition!
- Entry comes with 3 free model entries to utilize in the competition.
- There is no limit to how many models you can cut! *You can add extra models to sign up at general entry price*
- Completing more skin fades helps, but cut quality always counts!
- Cuts are judged by fade quality, model count & line-up symmetry!

*Competition Guidelines*
- Use Cordless clippers & hair dryers.
- Unfinished cuts within time limits are disqualified from placing.
- Hair can come dyed in one color prior to battle, no fade or clipper design is allowed before competition begins.
- Hair models must have clean hair & follow appropriate specific guidelines for battle participation.
- No floor mounted ring lights allowed, smaller lights etc headlights or small grip lights allowed.
- Maximum competition compensation is guaranteed only with complete competitor slot entry.
